Besides the Statue of Liberty and the great pizza, what is New York City most famous for?
Kick ass art, that’s what!
New York City has long been considered a major center of the global art market. Artists of all disciplines are drawn to the city for it’s vibrant visual arts scene and promise of opportunity. New York has been instrumental to the success of many major artists throughout history and to this day remains a showcase for leading American and International contemporary fine art.
Which is why I’m super stoked to announce that I have been accepted for gallery representation by Agora Gallery and will be exhibiting my work there this coming October!
Beyond Borders, An Exhibition of Canadian Fine Art, will run from October 10-29th. The opening reception will be held on October 16th from 6-8pm at Agora Gallery for those who wish to attend.
As an artist, showing in New York has always been a dream of mine. There’s something really special and exciting about this city. The energy and possibilities are almost tangible. It’s in the air, it’s in the streets, and it’s in the hearts of all New Yorkers. New York really feels like home, and for my artwork, it will be for the next 18 months!
